Your giving compass
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.””
2 Corinthians 9:8-9 NIV
Pastor Mona asked a very important question on Sunday:
What is your compass when it comes to living a generous life?
Fear as our compass:
Our natural human response is often to protect and to guard our resources. It is an instinct we might have developed for many reasons.
At its base it is sometimes a fear of lacking.
We ask ourselves, will I have enough?
This then becomes the compass that leads our ability to be generous.
God as our compass
When we understand that God not only has the power to supply all our needs but that He longs to supply our needs, this gives our hearts rest.
God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, you lack nothing!
So that:
You will abound in every good work.
God wants to give you all that you need to be generous with your time, your effort and your finances.
He calls us to take that step of faith and obedience.
He does not force you to but calls you to walk this generous abundant life.
Love you guys❤️
May God bless you and keep you as you walk in His leading.
