Good morning church! Let’s remember today that that we are His adopted children, with new identities.
Everyone has an identity, this being the characteristics, traits, and personality that defines who you are. You could say that this is your "worldly" identity. But once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you receive a new spiritual identity through the Holy Spirit. Let's discover, or rediscover, how amazing your life in Christ is! Unpack these everlasting gifts from God. Hold on to these beautiful biblical truths about who you are in Christ and begin to see yourself as God sees you.
YOU ARE A NEW CREATION
The Apostle Paul gives you a glimpse into the amazing change in your life when you put your faith in Christ. The new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that He is who he says he is, and confessing it with your mouth, you are and have become a new Christian, born again of the Spirit, not of the flesh, as a new creation. God created a new spirit within you. You are a new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness because Christ is IN YOU.
This is a beautiful and everlasting gift from God that you can unpack right away! You are chosen, hand-picked by the God of all creation, and made new. Live a life that reflects Jesus in how you act and what you say. You are a new creation with a unique new identity that no one can take from you.

Thanks Jonathan for the reminder this morning. We are a new creation and the old is gone. I have to remind myself many times as I walk with God.
Yes I di have a new identity with Christ.He has adopted me as his daughter.I do see changements in my life.I am gifted because I said yes to Him.....He has the control on me.I do hear his voice.So I need to reflect him...but only if I keep worshipping and be in his word.God loves me I love Him so much.He is so real.THANKS jONATHAN.Have a blessed day.

We even are chosen by God. He knows me by name and He knows me before I was born in the womb of my mom. It means a lot. Thank you again Johnathan 🙂❤️
