Good Morning Church family!
One thing pastor Mona said in her sermon on Sunday was that walking in cooperation with the Holy Spirit is the key to walking in victory.
She also stated that:
"God cannot build our character without our cooperation, lack of victory not on his end, it is usually on ours"
What hinders us from cooperating is perhaps not trusting God.
We chose to trust other things instead. This could be ourselves, or things or others.
Unfortunately, as pastor Mona said, we don't have the power to chose our consequences.
God only has the path of life and He has promised to make clear to you what the path to victory will be. And He has given us the Holy Spirit to be our guide on that journey to victory.
In Acts 2:28, Peter quotes psalm 16 when he says:
You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’[a]
Maybe one of the lies you might be believing is that you are unable to hear God's voice guiding you. Jesus said, my sheep hear my voice. God is not like humans, He is not unclear when He speaks.
Sometimes we need to deal with the reality of how we decide to trust or not. If your measurement for trust is all the times you have been let down by people or authorities before when they were guiding you, you can chose to believe the truth. God is not like people.
Psalm 66:20 says Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
People might have let you down, but God will not, but that is your choice to choose to trust the truth about His character and nature or not.
May you grow ever increasingly in the knowledge of who your God is.

Thank you for the devotion Erica. I choose to trust God everyday. Not always easy because the flesh is weak. God never failed to guide my step and I so thankful that we have the Holy Spirit to give us everything we need in every situation. Have a bless day ☀ï¸ðŸ’—
Thanks you Erica ! It was really encouraging. Yes it's true people let us down sometimes but Jesus don't. More we know Jesus the better it is for us. We trust the people or we trust Jesus. It's our choice like you said. I want to trust God for my life even it's difficult at times. He knows my everything. I like when you said God is not like people. Have a great day. â¤ï¸ðŸ™‚
Thanks for the devotional .the message on Sunday was clear we must choose which way and if we will trust God to lead us .love the new setup ,can reread the other Devotionals easily
Thabk you Erica!
I've trusted in myself in a certain area/way for too long. I have to choose to trust Him rather than my feelings or thoughts when they come up...to practice doing the opposite! â¤ï¸
God's way is the only right path, through faith in Him and with the constant guidance of His Holy Spirit 🤠Great Devo sister and so true, our cooperation is the key to our success because God's already succeeded- all we have to do is agree with Him and get on board with becoming intentionally kingdom-minded and living for His purpose ðŸ™ðŸ» Thanks Erica 💗
Great reminder that is before us. To live according to his Spirit or the flesh.
God help us to flowing your leading!
