Good Morning church family!
What a powerful message we heard on Sunday from Pastor Stan.
In the times that we are living, God is calling us to no longer waste time addressing life and His kingdom in the same manner.
We cannot afford to rely on our own understanding, our own strength and our own plans for life. This life here on earth is such a short one compared to the glory that awaits us.
Pastor Stan said:
When we shift our reliance, we don't have to wait on Him. We take a short cut.
God sent a messenger to king Asa to remind him what it was like to rely on God versus himself.
But Asa would not listen.
2 Chronicles 16:9
9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
How many wars will we fight before we realize that we are fighting on the wrong team, with the wrong equipment and serving the wrong king?
God wants to show himself strong on your behalf, He wants to guide you with his loving eye upon you.
Will we settle for needless war within and without?
John 15:4,9,10,11
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
God does not want to deprive His children in the season of waiting. Rather, God wants to give you greater joy, greater connection with himself.
The question is whether we want to continue fighting our daily battles alone, or in His loving care and strength.

Good morning....Right now I know that I am too centered on myself....and not all on God.I judge myself and thinksome is judging me.I am very hard on myself.I am having a hard time to let go and let God.Human nature...I am like the branch that cant bare fruits at times I am more centered on God.This morning was alot in worshiping but had a hard time. All I can do is to continue to praise God ask hom His strengh and His courage and do my best see I have a hard time to let Him do it for me.I feel bad that I aint doing better.
Thank you Erica for sharing this devotion. I want God to fight my battle but sometimes I do fight for my own battle wich is no good at all. God knows better than me to know how to fight for me. I need him so much. Exodus 14:14 says I will fight for your battle . Have a great day . 🙂 â¤ï¸
