Good morning everyone,
Thank you for joining us on this journey once again. It truly is a blessing to come together to share a devotion with you as a church body and really dive deep into what we hear on Sundays.
Yesterday morning Pastor Mona continued on with part 3 of our series "Walking in Victory".One of the things that really stood out to me was when she said "faith is my response to what has already been done."
Entering the narrow gate requires faith. Rom. 5:1-2 says "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” It is through faith in what He has done on the cross and by His amazing grace and faithfulness that we have gained access to God and entered the narrow gate.
Entering the narrow gate is probably the best decision you or I could ever make, however, we can’t just stay at the gate. Sure, we gain salvation, but there is so much more that lies ahead. After we enter the narrow gate, there’s a journey ahead of us where we have to continue to make choices to move forward with God.
As we heard yesterday, the Christian life is lived by faith according to what God says is true. Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the Bible are our standard and guide for walking along this path of life. Our Biblical response to Truth is walking by faith. It is only truth that sets us free. We must choose to walk by faith and respond to God’s Truth. Our response can’t be based upon what our own human understanding says or how we may feel about something. I thank God for this because my thoughts and feelings some days can be all over the place and often can lead me astray, where God is solid, unchanging and a sure foundation that I can count on.
I pray today that if there is anyone that has been stuck at the gate and if they don't see it, that God would reveal it to them, and that they would choose to agree with God and then choose walk by faith in obedience to whatever God is asking of them to move forward.
Choose today to respond to what He has shown you and walk by faith and respond.
Have a wonderful day church family.

Thank you Ash! What wonderful nugget this morning
Thank you for being obedient and preaching such a powerful message yesterday!
Thank you for the reminder that our faith is the start of our life with God. We are going to be more confident the more we know Him.
Faith is the beginning. We can't do without faith. It would be self. I need Jesus every day . The Bible says walking by faith not by sight .2 Corinthians 5:7 Thank you Ashley for this devotion. Really encouraging 🙂â¤ï¸
