Happy Thanksgiving Church Family! 🍂
Yesterday morning we heard an encouraging message by Pastor Glen called "Thanksgiving in an Age of Complaining" and as Pastor Glen shared, our biggest reason for Thanksgiving is the cross of Jesus!
Without the cross of Jesus we would have no hope, no salvation, no redemption, healing, restoration, and power.
As Pastor Glen shared as well that we see that our world is in a downward spiral spiritually, morally, politically, socially. People are depressed, financially struggling, and homeless. (just to name a few).
As believers we have the hope that Jesus offers to all those who call upon His name and repent and believe in what He has done for us on the cross. He rescued us from darkness and brought us into His family and Kingdom.
Ro 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name...
No matter what you may be going through today, take some time to reflect and thank God for all the things he has provided and blessed you with. Remember your salvation and all the spiritual blessings He has provided for you. Being in an attitude of gratitude sure helps send the enemy running!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
God Bless!
