Good morning church family!!!
Something Pastor Mona said on Sunday really struck me.
“God desires that generosity be part of our character and that generosity will come from Him.“
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 NIV
It is God‘s nature to be generous. And we are called to reflect Him more and more. The wonderful thing about that is that He is not asking us to do this out of our own strength but through Him.
Because of His generosity towards us, we can be generous towards others and His kingdom. In the end, all belongs to Him anyway.
pastor Mona said “ our giving is a reflex of God‘s giving”
If we withhold from others, and God’s kingdom , perhaps it is because we really do not know how much our Heavenly Father cares for us. we might not truly understand His generosity in keeping us.
The bible says: sow generously and you will reap generously.
My encouragement today is for you to seek God and discover His generosity. There are so many verses in the New Testament and Old Testament that clearly declare that God wants to take care of our needs.
The discovery might be you taking a leap of faith in the direction of obedience in how God is asking you to give, whether it is time, energy or finances. When we chose to obey, we benefit.
