Good morning Forever Family!
In light of yesterday’s video called Israel, Hamas and the end times”. I thought this devotional from Pastor Jackson was fitting.
TIME TO PREPARE IS BEFORE IT HAPPENS..
1 Peter 1:13 (NLT®)
Prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.
We don’t think much about emergencies until we’re in one. Firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians prepare so they are ready when crisis comes, or tragedy strikes. The time to prepare is before the crisis. If you don’t think about preparing until it happens, you’ve waited too long. Like all those first responders, we need to be ready for the season ahead. There will be times when the spiritual pressures are so great, we will be unable to manage with our own limited resources—we will desperately need the Lord.
• We will need to have a firm assurance of our relationship with Jesus.
• We will need to know God’s Word.
• We will need to be able to hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
THINK ABOUT IT
Let’s not wait until we are in crisis mode to seek the Lord. Let’s begin to prepare now.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me intentionally and actively pursue You, Your Word of truth, and the gentle voice of Your Holy Spirit so I may be disciplined and prepared for the season ahead. May I be strong and of good courage to face any storm ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I just was worshipping and come on this ouff .I sure will prepare myself by praying worship and be in the Bible.Well when I read this it sounds scary.Its for sure that if God became first in my life ....I was saying yes but how...I didnt understand but He did it.I was open to it.Thanks Pastor Mona to prepare us...you are such a great Pastor.You are so good to us.God Has filled you of His love...compassion.Keep me in prayer on this one.
