Good morning Church Family!
So blessed to have each and every one of you : )
For those who were not there at the bible study yesterday, I will put the Youtube link at the bottom of this devotion.
Yesterday we watched a bit of Dr. Tony Evans' sermon on Strategies for Spiritual Warfare.
She then took some time to speak and explain the issue. Even though I have been in church for many years, I know I personally need a reminder of the very real spiritual warfare that is going on in the unseen world.
There are problems happening in our physical world that are simply a manifestation of what is going on in the heavenly places.
She stated " We think we can fix what is in the physical world, in the physical world"
Ephesians 6:10-12 says:
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
She also stated that the enemy has been defeated and he needs permission to operate in your life.
The devil operates by consent and cooperation.
How do we give consent for the enemy to operate in our lives you might ask?
By moving away from God's covering
How do we stay under God's covering you might ask?
By embracing truth! And when God shows you something in your life (bitterness, pride, rebellion) we take action on what He has shown us right away!
Ephesians 4: 27 says:
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
If God is showing you something today, respond to His promptings. Not only does God want to give you victory in this area, He wants to protect you from the harm sin causes your life.

Really good devotion. We need to put the armor of God every day. We need to fight the good fight with God. We are not alone in this. Not easy every day and me I need to renew my mind with the truth at all times. Thank you Erica. Have a great day .🙂❤️
